Prof Ben Onyeukwu DESTINY ROBBERS

DESTINY
ROBBERS:

By Prof Ben Onyeukwu

GREED is the main robber of destiny. So, those guilty of it, are the main problems militating against the destinies of others. And, by way of definition, GREED, is a "selfish or excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved, especially of money, wealth, food, or other possessions".
Now, consider a pastor who has fleet of cars, private aircrafts, and other economic worths, ranging in billions, coming up with the pulpit antics of breaking the barriers holding down the destinies of his members, who live in abject poverty, while he lives in excessive luxury.
Or, the politician who was chosen by his people as their representative in government, coming up with the pep talk the people should continue to wait for dividends of democracy, while he keeps all allocations to himself.
Also, consider a family member that is blessed materially, but withholds or denies his brothers and sisters the needed help, while telling them that GOD would bless, or send their destiny helpers.
Having stressed the above, the writer, therefore,  submits that, your excessively rich pastor, political representative, or well-to-do family member, who refuses to help, are your Destiny Robbers, and nothing more.
In conclusion, please, always remember that, JESUS CHRIST urges us to..."beware of greed, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses, as He spoke a parable saying that, a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, "What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops? So he said, "I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry. But God said to him, "Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?' "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich towards God'. REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL! (See Luke 12:15-21).
