GIFT OF
ETERNAL LIFE:
By Prof Ben Onyeukwu
The Gift of Eternal Life is the most precious gift that GOD Has given to humanity through His only begotten SON, JESUS CHRIST. This incomparable GIFT, by DIVINE design, is supposed to be the major emphasis of the Christian Pulpit, since it is the only SUBSTANCE that guarantees the believer's return to GOD, hereafter.
But, unfortunately, most nonchalant preachers trade frivolities with this incredibly lofty GIFT, that is just the HOPE of the lost sinner, and so, block the chances of many getting into Heaven, after their religious devotions to GOD on earth.
Drawing attention to this most precious GIFT, the Apostle John narrates that,..."God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life".
In conclusion, please, notice that the cited Scripture, vividly opines that, receiving JESUS CHRIST, is the only possible WAY of receiving GOD'S GIFT of Eternal Life. REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL! (See 1 John 5:11-12).
